Product Shelf Life and Handling
All our products are 100% homemade and baked with PREMIUM ingredients. This page is dedicated entirely on how to properly store and take care of your purchased orders from J.cuppacakes.
All our products are best eaten on the day of purchase; However, if eating it at a later time, please do not forget to keep it in an airtight container and in the right storage area. Please read below:
Regular Cupcakes and Whole Cakes (non fondant)
Shelf life: 2 to 3 days
Storage area: Refrigerator
Important remark: Quality will be different compared to the first day of purchase. Please remove from its box and transfer it to any airtight container.
Strawberry/Fruta de Pavlova/Tiramisu Pavlova
VERY FRAGILE/ BEST EATEN ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY
Reminder: These cakes contain fresh fruits & dairy ingredients with no added preservatives. Cracks and Falling Meringue are normal.
Shelf life: 1 day only
Cheesecakes (cupcakes and whole cakes)
Shelf life: 4 to 7 days
Storage area: Refrigerator (4 to 7 days) Freezer (Up to 2 weeks, thaw it out for 1 hour before serving)
Important remark: Quality will be different compared to the first day of purchase.
Shelf life: 1 week
Reheating instructions: Remove from plastic pouch or box and microwave for 10 to 15 seconds.
Storage area: Refrigerator or Cool Room temperature
Important remark: Do not remove from plastic to keep its moisture.

Cinnamon Rolls
Reheating instructions:
Microwave for 20 to 30 seconds with a glass of water inside = soft cinnamons
Toast for 1 to 2 minutes = crunchy cinnamons
Shelf life: 3 days in the fridge /2 weeks in Freezer (Thaw for 1 hour before heating)
Important remark: Quality will be different compared to first day of purchase.
Cupsaymadas (our very own ensaymadas)
Reheating instructions: Microwave for 30 seconds
Toast for 1 to 2 minutes
Shelf life: 2-3 days in COOL room temperature, please expect softening of butter as we use 100% premium butter.
These are not meant in the refrigerator because it can cause dryness
but can extend shelf life up to 1 week
Important remark: If eating it for later, please do not remove from plastic sheet. Quality will be different compared to first day of purchase.
Cream Puffs
Reheating instructions:
Toast for 10 to 15 minutes = to bring back it crunchiness
Shelf life: 2 days in the refrigerator
Important remark: If eating it for later, please keep in an airtight container inside the refrigerator. Our cream puffs contain perishable fillings (dairy) please avoid leaving it in a hot and humid area.
Empanadas
Reheating instructions:
Microwave for 20 to 30 seconds = soft empanadas
Toast for 10 to 15 minutes = crunchy empanadas
Shelf life: 3 days in the refrigerator
Important remark: If eating it for later, please keep in an airtight container inside the refrigerator. Our empanadas contain perishable fillings (meat and dairy) please avoid leaving it in a hot and humid area.
Hot Chocolate Bombs
Shelf life: 1 month inside the refrigerator and 2 weeks in a cool area.
Important remark: Please do not remove from its plastic pouch. If using it for later, please keep it an airtight container inside the refrigerator (Chocolate absorbs odor). Our Hot Chocolate Bombs are made from 100% chocolate and thus will melt when in contact with heat.
TIP: To make sure your bombs explode when pouring your milk, please make sure that your milk is HOT :)
SPECIAL CAKES: BUTTERCREAM AND FONDANT CAKES/DESSERTS
- Buttercream Cakes (non-fondant cakes) should be kept inside the refrigerator if displaying/eating it at a later time. In case your cake is big, keep it in a very cool airconditioned room.
- For customized cakes that has a glass sugar centerpiece or any sugar crystals decor, please expect that it can moist. Sugar absorbs moisture when kept in the refrigerator. Please avoid touching it.
- Please ensure that your customized cake is
- Left over cake can be kept inside the refrigerator in an airtight container and good for another 2 days (quality may differ)
- Your cupcakes/cake might contain the following non edible materials:

Photoedible Cookies
Shelf life: 1 week
Important remark: In a few days after your date of purchase, the photoedible image on your cookie might discolor due to the moisture that naturally occurs inside its plastic pouch. Please do not keep it inside the refrigerator. It is best to keep it in an airconditioned area.
Cake Pops
Shelf life: 2 days (room temperature) 1 week (refrigerated)
Important remark: Chocolate absorbs moisture and thus it might perspire when placed inside the refrigerator (if you are still going to display it the next day). It is normal to see some oil under the cake pop as it is the moisture of the cake inside. However, to prolong its shelf life, you can keep it inside the refriegrator.
